The Blink Outdoor 2K+ Wireless Smart Security Camera 2 Pack gives you two battery-powered, weather-resistant cameras and a Sync Module Core hub in one DIY-friendly kit. About the product
Each camera records at 2K resolution (2560 x 1440) and offers 4x zoom, so you can pick out delivery details, visitors or the type of vehicle in your driveway. In dim conditions the camera uses ambient light to record in colour, then falls back to infrared black and white when there is not enough light. Built-in two-way audio uses noise cancellation for clearer conversations. Each camera runs on two non-rechargeable AA lithium batteries and can last up to two years, based on efficiency settings at 1080p resolution with typical use. The cameras work with a compatible Alexa device, so you can view live video, arm or disarm and set routines hands-free.
Where to use it
Indoors: the Sync Module Core hub plugs into power with the supplied adaptor and USB-C cable, and the cameras can also be placed inside where you want extra coverage.
Outdoors: front doors, driveways, side gates, backyards and sheds. The IP65 rating means the camera is built to handle rain and dust.
How to use it
Set up through the Blink app, which needs a recent phone or tablet operating system. Connect the Sync Module Core, fit the batteries, add each camera in the app and fix it in place with the supplied mounting kit. Optional extras include a Blink Subscription Plan (sold separately), which adds smart person and vehicle notifications.

Important notes
Colour vision in low light depends on some ambient light being available. Without it, the camera switches to infrared black and white. The batteries supplied are non-rechargeable lithium AA cells, so replace them with the same type. Smart person and vehicle detection requires an optional subscription plan. Battery life varies with video settings and how often the camera is triggered.

Care and storage
Wipe the lens gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children, and dispose of used batteries through a battery recycling point. Keep the Sync Module Core and its power adaptor in a dry, sheltered spot. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for full details.
