Uses
Bostik Contact Bond is a solvent based, high solids, brush or scraper grade contact adhesive. It is specifically formulated to provide an extra-strong and flexible bond on contact. It resists heat and water. It also provides excellent adhesion to most natural and neoprene rubbers as well as a wide variety of porous and non-porous surfaces. It may be easily applied by brush or scraper giving a secure and lasting bond making it clean and economical to use.

Bostik Contact Bond is primarily used in the furniture and allied industries for fixing plastic laminates and rigid or flexible decorative surface coverings to wood, MDF, particle board, plywood, leather, felt, cotton back PVC and metal.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure all surfaces are clean and dry and free from all loose paint, dust, grease, oil and foreign materials.

APPLICATION
Tube (Blister Pack) Application
1. Unscrew cap and pierce and of the tube with the reverse end of the cap
2. Apply thin, even film to both surfaces to be glued
3. Leave until touch dry (approximately 5 to 15 minutes), then bring both surfaces together accurately
4. Take care to avoid the formation of air bubbles between surfaces
5. To ensure maximum adhesion, clamp or weigh down the entire surface or apply firm hand pressure evenly
6. Replace screw cap to keep the contents of tube airtight

CLEANING
To clean up tools, equipment and adhesive spills use Mineral Turpentine. Use Bostik Handy Wipe towels to remove adhesive from the skin.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store in a cool dry place between 5°C and 30°C and out
of direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition.
Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture
when stored as directed.
