Boston Liquid Thread Sealant 50g
Boston Liquid Thread Sealant is an anaerobic sealant formulated to seal metal threads on gas and water pipes. It cures in the absence of air once confined between metal surfaces, creating a reliable, leak resistant seal.

Where to use
- Metal to metal threaded connections on gas lines and appliances
- Metal to metal threaded connections on cold and warm water pipes up to 55°C
Not suitable for
- Plastic, glass, or rubber parts
- Non threaded gaps or joints exposed to air
- Continuous steam temperatures above 135°C
Directions
- Remove oil and contamination from threads. Ensure parts are clean and dry.
- Apply sealant to one surface, covering 2 to 3 thread rotations.
- Assemble threads. Wipe off any excess sealant immediately.
- Allow 10 to 20 minutes for initial cure before pressurising. Allow 24 hours for full cure.
- Disassembly can be performed using standard hand tools.
Good to know
- Anaerobic sealants cure when air is excluded between metal parts. Sealant exposed to air will not cure.
- Packaging is larger than contents to prevent in bottle curing. Net content is 50g.
- Always wipe away excess to avoid any metallic taste from uncured material in potable water systems.
- Apply with good ventilation. If contact occurs with eyes or skin, flush with clean water immediately.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
