Description
Combat Ant-Rid Ant Baits are a tidy, ready-to-use indoor ant control option, supplied here as a six-pack of 1.5g bait stations for kitchens, bathrooms and other trouble spots. The baits are made to work on the nest, not just the ants you can see, so you can deal with a stubborn indoor ant problem without sprays or mess.
About the formula
Each bait uses a delayed-action formula with the active ingredient fipronil. It combines a sweet food source with a protein food source to attract foraging worker ants. The delay gives workers time to carry the bait back to the nest and share it with other ants, including the queen, before the bait takes effect. The grey station design is meant to blend in with kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
Where to use it
Indoors: kitchen benches and cupboards, under sinks, behind appliances, bathrooms, laundries and other spots where ants are trailing.
Outdoors: not intended for outdoor use.
Designed for common household ants. Place the baits on dry, clean, flat surfaces close to ant trails.
How to use it
Take the baits out of the pack and place them right beside ant trails or where ants gather. The stations need no activation. For best results, put out several at once and keep the surrounding area clear of food crumbs and spills. Leave the baits and the ants alone so the workers can carry the bait back to the nest. Where the pack includes adhesive tabs, you can use them to fix stations to walls or under benches. Replace stations once they have been eaten, or as directed on the pack.
Important notes
Ant activity can rise at first as workers find the bait, then ease off as the bait is carried back to the nest. Do not spray other insecticides on or near the baits, as this can put ants off. Not suitable for outdoor use. Different ant species prefer different foods, so results can vary. Keep baits away from food preparation areas and where children or pets can reach them.
