Description
Crescent Black Cable Ties 150mm x 3.6mm are general-purpose nylon ties for bundling and tidying cables, hoses and wiring, supplied as a 100 pack in a resealable bag. The black colour is UV resistant, so they hold up well when used outdoors as well as in the home, office or workshop.
About the product
Each tie is a one-piece, self-locking design made from nylon 66 that carries UL approval. The material is heavier than a basic tie, which adds strength, and it resists most acids. The black colour contains carbon additives that protect the nylon from sunlight. The ties are RoHS compliant. Once locked they are not releasable, and there is no mounting screw hole.
Where to use it
Indoors: tidying power, data and AV cables behind desks and entertainment units, bundling wiring in the workshop or garage, and organising leads around the home or office.
Outdoors: securing cables, hoses and light wiring along fences, posts and frames, and holding garden items in place. The UV-resistant black nylon suits sunny positions.
How to use it
- Wrap the tie around the bundle and feed the tail through the head.
- Pull the tail through until the bundle is snug. The locking head holds it in place.
- Trim off the excess tail with side cutters or sharp scissors, cutting flush so no sharp edge is left.
- Reseal the bag after use to keep the remaining ties clean and together.
Important notes
These ties are a single-use fastener and cannot be released, so you will need to cut them off to remove them. They suit bundles roughly 2mm to 35mm in diameter. Do not overtighten on delicate cable insulation. For heavy loads, structural fixing or very large bundles, choose a longer or heavy duty tie.

Care and storage
Keep the ties in their resealable bag, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until needed. Wear eye protection when trimming tails, as cut ends can fly off. Keep out of reach of small children and pets, since the ties and trimmed offcuts are a choking hazard.
