Description
Crescent 300mm x 4.8mm Black Cable Ties come in a pack of 100, a long, general-purpose tie for bundling cables, hoses and wiring around the home, office, workshop or job site. Each tie is a one-piece, self-locking nylon strap with a heavier build than a basic tie, and the black colour is UV resistant so the ties hold up when used outdoors.
About the product
These are single-piece nylon ties with a built-in locking head. Once pulled tight they stay put. The black material is made to resist sunlight, which helps the ties last longer on outdoor jobs, and the nylon is resistant to most chemicals and acids. They are UL approved and RoHS compliant. The ties are supplied in a resealable zip lock bag, so leftover ties stay tidy and protected between jobs.
Where to use it
Indoors: tidying power and data leads behind desks and TV units, bundling wiring in the workshop or garage, and organising cords and cables around the home or office.
Outdoors: securing cables, hoses and wiring along fences, frames and conduit, and general bundling where the ties will be in sunlight.
How to use it
- Wrap the tie around the cables or items you want to bundle.
- Feed the tail through the locking head and pull it firmly until snug.
- Trim the excess tail flush with side cutters for a neat finish.
- Keep unused ties in the zip lock bag.
Important notes
These are non-releasable, single-use ties, so they need to be cut off to remove. They have no mounting screw hole, so they are not designed for fixing to a surface with a screw. Do not overtighten on delicate cable insulation, and check the size suits your bundle before use.

Care and storage
Store the ties in their resealable bag in a cool, dry place away from prolonged heat. Wear safety glasses when trimming tails, as cut ends can spring off. Keep out of reach of young children.
