Description
Crescent Heavy Duty Cable Ties in black are a 100 pack of 370mm x 7.6mm self-locking nylon ties, built for bundling larger looms, hoses and bulky cable runs. They use a heavier gauge of nylon than standard ties, so they hold up better when you are securing thick bundles at home, in the workshop or on site.
About the product
Each tie is a one-piece moulded design that locks in place as you pull it tight. The material is Solutia nylon 6/6 that carries UL approval, and the black ties include carbon additives that protect against UV, so they suit long-term outdoor exposure. They resist most chemical acids and meet RoHS requirements. The pack comes in a resealable zip lock bag, which keeps the ties tidy and helps them last longer in storage.
Where to use it
Indoors: tidying power and data cables, securing wiring looms in the workshop or shed, bundling hoses and leads, and general fastening around the home or office.
Outdoors: strapping cables and hoses along fences, posts or frames, securing irrigation or lighting runs, and fixing wiring in vehicles, trailers and caravans where UV exposure is a concern.
How to use it
- Wrap the tie around the items you want to bundle and feed the tail through the locking head.
- Pull the tail until the bundle is snug. Avoid over-tightening on soft cable insulation.
- Trim the excess tail flush with side cutters for a neat, safe finish.
- Keep unused ties sealed in the zip lock bag.
Important notes
These ties are not releasable, so they are cut off when you need to remove or reposition them. They do not have a mounting screw hole. Check that the bundle suits the tie length before you start, and wear eye protection when trimming tails.

Care and storage
Store the ties in their resealable bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until needed. Keep away from young children, and cut off tails cleanly so no sharp ends are left exposed.
