Description
Crescent Natural Cable Ties are general-purpose, self-locking nylon ties for bundling and tidying cables, hoses and other loose items, supplied here as a pack of 100 in a resealable bag. At 300mm long and 4.8mm wide, they are a practical in-between size for home, office and workshop jobs where a short tie is too small and a heavy-duty tie is overkill.
About the product
Each tie is a one-piece moulded nylon strap with a built-in locking head, so there are no loose parts to fit. Crescent uses a heavier weight of material for added strength, and the nylon is UL approved and resists most chemical acids. The ties are natural (off-white) in colour. They are not releasable and have no mounting screw hole, so they are designed as a permanent, single-use fastening.
Where to use it
Indoors: tidying power, data and AV cables behind desks and entertainment units, bundling leads in the workshop or garage, and keeping hoses, wiring and light fittings neat.
Outdoors: these natural ties are not UV resistant, so they are best kept for indoor or sheltered use rather than long-term sun exposure.
How to use it
- Wrap the tie around the bundle and thread the tail through the locking head.
- Pull the tail until the tie is snug, then trim off the excess with side cutters, cutting flush to avoid a sharp edge.
- Do not over-tighten on soft or delicate cable insulation.
- Keep unused ties in the resealable bag so they stay clean and ready to use.
Important notes
These ties lock permanently and cannot be released, so cut them off to remove them and use a fresh tie when re-bundling. They suit bundles from about 3mm up to 76mm in diameter. They are not UV resistant, so choose a UV-stable black tie for exposed outdoor jobs.

Care and storage
Store the ties in their resealable bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Trim tails flush after tightening and keep cut offcuts away from children and pets.
