Description
Croc Grip Black Anti-Slip Tape is a gritty, self-adhesive safety tape that adds traction to areas where slips, trips and falls are a concern, supplied as a 5m x 50mm roll. The black finish blends in with dark surfaces and step edges, and the tape is made for both indoor and outdoor use in busy walkways.
About the product
The surface is a double-coated, aggressive 60-grit abrasive that gives a firm grip underfoot. It has been tested to the Australian Standard for slip resistance (AS 4586:2013) and achieved a P5 rating, the category for very low risk of slippage. The tape is resistant to chemicals and oil, and the acrylic adhesive backing is durable and water resistant.
Where to use it
Indoors: stair treads and step edges, ramps, landings, workshop and warehouse walkways, and other high-traffic floor areas.
Outdoors: steps, ramps, decks, loading areas and other walkways exposed to the weather.
How to use it
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil, grease and loose material. Measure and cut the tape to length, peel back the liner, then press it firmly into place along its full length so the adhesive makes good contact. Check the finished area before returning it to foot traffic.
Important notes
Surface preparation has a large effect on how well the tape sticks, so take extra care on dusty, oily or loose surfaces. For painted, coated or otherwise sensitive surfaces, test a small area first. The black tape is not a high-visibility product, so consider a contrasting or reflective option where you need hazard marking.

Safety
Handle the roll with normal care, as the gritty surface can be abrasive on bare hands, so wear gloves when cutting and fitting. Keep out of reach of children and store the roll in a cool, dry place. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details.
