Description
Croc Grip Clear Anti-Slip Tape is a 5 metre roll of clear, gritty traction tape that adds grip to stairs, ramps, steps and other busy walkways without hiding the surface underneath. It is made for both home and workplace use, and it has a P5 slip rating when tested to the Australian slip resistance standard.
About the product
This is a commercial high grit anti-slip tape with a clear finish, so it blends into most surfaces. It has a durable, water-resistant adhesive backing and is resistant to chemicals and oils, which suits areas that see regular foot traffic, spills and cleaning. It was tested to AS/NZS 4586:2013 and achieved a P5 rating, which the manufacturer describes as a very low risk of slippage.
Where to use it
Indoors: stairs, landings, entry areas, ramps and other high-traffic floors where slips, trips and falls are a concern.
Outdoors: steps, decking approaches, loading areas and walkways that get wet.
Suitable for use on clean, solid surfaces in both domestic and commercial settings. For delicate or finished surfaces, test a small piece first.
How to use it
Clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely so it is free of dust, grease, oil and moisture. Measure and cut the tape to length, peel back the backing, position it carefully, then press down firmly along its whole length so the adhesive makes full contact. Trim at the edges as needed.
Important notes
Good surface preparation has a big effect on how well the tape holds. Check the tape regularly and replace any worn or lifting sections to keep the grip effective. Test a small area first on painted, sealed or delicate surfaces.

Safety
