The D-Line Small Cable Tidy Unit is a white cable management box that hides a power board and its tangle of leads out of sight, giving desks, entertainment units and workspaces a cleaner, safer look. It suits most compact four-outlet power boards and is a simple, tool-free way to organise cables around the home or office.
About the product
The box and click-lock lid are made from robust ABS plastic that D-Line describes as electrically safe. The low-key white finish blends in with modern surroundings, AV gear and IT equipment. Three cable entry and exit slots on the rear let you route leads out to the left, to the right or vertically, so the front stays neat. The unit is tested and certified to BS EN 60670-22:2006. It is designed to hold power boards up to 280mm long, which covers many four-outlet boards.
Where to use it
Indoors: behind or beside the TV and AV equipment, under or beside a desk, around gaming and home office set-ups, in lounge rooms, bedrooms and workshops.
Outdoors: not intended for outdoor use.
How to use it
- Check that your power board fits inside the unit (up to 280mm long) before you set it up.
- Open the click-lock lid and place the power board inside the base.
- Pass the leads out through the rear entry and exit slots, choosing the left, right or vertical route to suit your layout.
- Close the lid until it clicks shut.
- The flat lid and tidy shape also make it easier to clean around the area, and keep trailing cables off the floor where they can cause trips.
Important notes
Always follow the power board manufacturer's instructions and do not exceed its rated load. Make sure cables are not pinched or kinked where they leave the box. Keep the box in a dry indoor spot, clear of heat sources. Check that the cables and plugs you plan to use are in good condition before enclosing them. It will not fit boards longer than 280mm, so consider the larger D-Line unit for those.

Care and storage
Unplug the power board before opening the box or moving cables. Wipe the outside with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep the unit away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of young children and pets, and keep the lid closed when in use.
