Description
The D-Line Small Cable Tidy Unit with wood effect lid is a neat, low-profile box that hides a power board and the tangle of cables around it. It suits desks, TV and AV set-ups, gaming corners and floors, and the wood effect lid helps it blend in with timber furniture and flooring.
About the product
The base is white and the lid has a wrapped wood effect finish. The box is moulded from electrically safe ABS plastic and closes with a click-lock lid. It has curved ends and a flat top, so the lid can double as a small stand for light items. It is made in the UK and is certified to BS EN 60670-22:2006. The small size is designed to cover power boards up to 280mm long.
Where to use it
Indoors: under or on desks in a home office, behind or beside the TV and AV gear, around a gaming set-up, or on the floor next to a wall outlet.
Outdoors: not intended for outdoor use.
How to use it
- Open the click-lock lid and place the power board inside the base.
- Feed the plug cables out through any of the three rear entry/exit slots. They can be routed to the left, to the right or upwards.
- Close the lid. Cables leave from the back, so the front stays tidy.
- The base has a mounting screw hole if you want to fix it in place.
- Pair it with D-Line trunking, cable tube, cable wrap or a cable zipper to hide the cables running to and from the box.
Important notes
Check that your power board fits before you buy. It must be no longer than 280mm, and the plugs and transformers need to fit inside the box. The box tidies cables and keeps them out of the way, but it does not make cables or power boards childproof or pet-proof. It is designed for indoor use. Colour and wood grain may vary slightly from the pack image.

Care and storage
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners that could mark the finish. Keep the unit away from heat sources and open flame, and do not stack heavy items on the lid. Make sure the power board and cables are not under strain or squashed, and check them from time to time for wear. Follow the power board manufacturer's instructions for safe use.
