Description
The D-Line Outdoor Cable Tidy Management Box is a weather-resistant, IP54-rated enclosure that keeps a power board and its plugs tucked away neatly outdoors. It suits garden, patio and decking setups where cables would otherwise be left lying around, and its black finish blends in with most outdoor surroundings.
About the product
The base and lid are moulded from impact-resistant polypropylene, made from recycled material, and the box is fully recyclable. The closed box carries an IP54 rating, which means protection against dust and splashing water, and it has been tested to EN 60529. The lid clips shut for a secure close and releases again when you need access. There are 10 cable entry and exit points, with 5 at each end, so cables can leave the box in the direction you need without being bent back on themselves. Cable tie slots are included to help deter tampering.
Where to use it
Indoors: not intended for indoor use, as it is designed for outdoor power setups.
Outdoors: powering garden equipment, outdoor lighting, festive decorations, heaters, BBQs and pressure washers from a power board, and tidying plugs and excess cable around lawns, gardens and decks. It also helps reduce a common cause of cable trips.
How to use it
- Open the click-lock lid and place your power board inside the base.
- Feed each cable out through the entry and exit points that suit your layout, at either end of the box.
- Use the cable tie slots to secure the cables if you want to discourage tampering.
- Close the lid until the clips lock. The box can sit freestanding or be fixed to a wall using the rear slots and suitable screws for your wall surface.
Important notes
Internal length is 290mm, so check that your power board fits before use. Do not bury the box or leave it covered by water. IP54 provides dust and weather resistance, not full waterproofing, so position it where it will not sit in pooling water. Keep it closed whenever it is in use outdoors.

Care and storage
Wipe the box clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Keep the lid closed when in use, and check that cables and plugs are dry before connecting power. Disconnect power before opening the box or changing cables. Store it in a dry place when not in use.
