The Dewalt DCF860N-XJ is an 18V XR brushless impact driver built for fast, powerful fastening, supplied here as a skin only (bare tool) for anyone already running the Dewalt 18V XR battery platform. About the product
A brushless motor helps deliver strong performance and long tool life while allowing a shorter overall design. A 3-speed mode selector and variable speed trigger give you precise control. Speed 1 delivers up to 141Nm, speed 2 up to 242Nm and speed 3 up to 282Nm. The lower speeds are tuned to suit the installation speeds of common self-drilling and self-tapping screws, and the tool also offers screw, bolt and self-tapping application modes.

How to use it
Fit a charged Dewalt 18V XR battery (sold separately), insert a 1/4 inch hex bit and select the speed or mode that suits the fastener. Squeeze the trigger progressively to control the speed, and use the LED light to illuminate the work area. Choose the lower speeds for self-drilling and self-tapping screws and the top speed for larger fasteners that need maximum torque.
