Description
The Dewalt 360 Degree Green Beam Cross Line Laser is a compact, self-levelling laser for fast, accurate layout, giving builders, tilers, plasterers and painters a bright green horizontal and vertical reference line. It projects a full 360 degree horizontal line plus a vertical line, so you can level and square up more than one plane at a time without moving the tool.
About the product
The green beam is easier to see than a standard red beam (Dewalt says up to four times brighter), which helps in well-lit rooms and over longer distances. The unit self-levels, and a lock switch holds the pendulum in place so the levelling mechanism is protected when the laser is moved or carried. An overmoulded housing and thick glass help protect the unit on site, and it is IP54 rated against dust and water splashes and drop tested to 1 metre.
Where to use it
Indoors: setting out plasterboard and ceilings, kitchen and bathroom fit-outs, tile layouts, wall framing, painting guides and picture or shelf alignment.
Outdoors: general levelling and marking in covered or shaded areas. Visibility of any laser line drops in bright sunlight.
How to use it
- Place the laser on a flat surface, mount it on a tripod using the 1/4 inch thread, or attach it to metal with the built-in magnetic bracket.
- Slide the lock switch to the unlocked position and the unit will self-level within its working range. An out-of-level warning lets you know if it is set up outside that range.
- Use the touch pad controls to switch between the horizontal line, the vertical line or both together.
- Use the manual mode setting when you need to project a line that is deliberately not level.
- Slide the lock switch back to the locked position before moving or storing the laser.

Laser, 4 x AA batteries and a carry case. Tripod not included.
Important notes
Accuracy is rated at +/- 4 mm at 10 metres, with a working range of 25 metres. For best results, check the laser against a known reference before critical jobs and keep the lens clean. A laser detector is needed for long distances or very bright conditions and is not included.

Care and storage
Never look directly into the laser beam or point it at other people, and keep it away from children. Lock the pendulum before transport, wipe the unit clean with a soft dry cloth, and store it in its case in a dry place. Remove the batteries if the laser will not be used for a long period.
