Description
The Dewalt DWHT77100-XJ is a compact 30m laser distance measurer for tradies and DIYers who want fast, repeatable readings without wrestling a long tape. It takes distance, area, volume and Pythagoras measurements in metric or imperial, and fits easily in a tool pouch or pocket.
About the product
A two-button handheld laser measure with a working range of up to 30m and an accuracy of ±3 mm at 10 m. A TPE overmould gives a secure, slip-resistant grip, and the body has an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes. A lanyard loop hole lets you clip it to a lanyard or hand loop so it is less likely to be dropped.
Where to use it
Indoors: measuring rooms, wall lengths, ceiling heights and cabinetry or flooring layouts, and working out floor area or room volume for quoting and material orders.
On site: checking spans, setting out work and taking quick measurements for framing, fit-outs and general trade jobs.
How to use it
Insert the two AAA batteries, point the red laser at the target surface and press the ON button to measure. Use the mode and unit buttons to switch between functions and units.

Important notes
Accuracy is rated at ±3 mm at 10 m, and readings can be affected by very bright light or highly reflective or transparent targets. Keep the lens clean for the best results. The IP54 rating covers dust and splashes only, so do not immerse the unit. It uses a visible Class 2 laser, so never point the beam at people or animals, and never look directly into it.
