The Dremel 3000 is a compact, lightweight rotary tool built for precision work. Its variable speed dial runs from 10,000 to 33,000 RPM, so you can slow right down for delicate materials or speed up for faster removal. The EZ Twist nose cap doubles as a wrench, which means accessory changes need no separate spanner, and Dremel says changes can be up to five times faster than with a standard wrench. A revised fan design with side vents helps the tool run cooler, smoother and quieter, which makes longer sessions more comfortable. The symmetrical body and trumpet-shaped nose cap suit a pencil-style grip for fine detail, and the soft grip helps reduce vibration and fatigue.

How to use it
Fit your chosen accessory and tighten it using the EZ Twist nose cap. Set the speed dial to suit the material and accessory, then let the tool do the work with light pressure rather than forcing it. Switch accessories as the job changes using the same nose cap.

Care and storage
Wear safety glasses and a dust mask, and secure small workpieces before you start. Unplug the tool before changing accessories and keep the vents clear of dust. After use, let the tool and accessories cool, then store everything in the case in a dry place, out of reach of children.
