Description
The Dripless ETS3000 is a tough, lightweight composite caulking gun for 300ml (10 oz) cartridges, built for tradies and serious DIYers who want clean beads with less hand and arm fatigue. Its Dripless switch lets you stop the flow of material the moment you release the trigger, or turn it off for thick products.
About the design
The body is made from a nylon reinforced polymer composite, so it handles rough daily use and is lighter than a typical metal gun. It has an 18:1 thrust ratio, which helps push thicker products out with less effort. The ergonomic grip keeps your wrist in a natural position on longer jobs. A rotating barrel makes it easier to control the bead around corners and in tight spots. A built-in nozzle cutter, an extra-long clean-out rod and a ladder hook round out the features.
Where to use it
Indoors: caulking and sealing around baths, basins, tiles, windows, door frames, skirting and cornices, and applying construction adhesives to panelling and trim.
Outdoors: gunning sealants and adhesives for masonry, concrete, roofing and general building work.
Suitable for use with standard 300ml (10 oz) cartridges of acrylic and silicone caulks, polyurethane sealants, construction adhesives and other cartridge-based products.
How to use it
Pull the drive rod back, drop in the cartridge and cut the nozzle tip at the angle and size you need, using the built-in cutter. Pierce the inner seal with the clean-out rod if the cartridge has one. Set the Dripless switch to suit the product. Turn it on for acrylic and silicone caulks to get a tidy bead that stops when you stop squeezing. Turn it off for thick products such as construction adhesives and polyurethanes, so pressure stays constant on the cartridge. Squeeze the trigger steadily and release it to stop the flow. After use, wipe the gun clean and remove any partly used cartridge or cap its nozzle.
Important notes
This gun is designed for 300ml (10 oz) cartridges only. Use the rotating barrel and the Dripless switch settings as described to get the best results from different products. Take care around the sharp cutter blade. Always check the sealant or adhesive manufacturer's instructions for application and cure details.
