Description
Dunlop Ardit Feather Finish is a cement-based smoothing compound that skims internal floors to a super-smooth, permanent finish before floor coverings are installed. Powered by ARDEX Ardit technology, it trowels out to a true feather edge and sets so fast that coverings can be applied from just 15 minutes after placement - and it needs no primer on most surfaces, saving a whole step.
Where to use it
For indoor use over concrete, existing tiles, sheet timber (plywood and particleboard) and cured Dunlop floor levellers. It is ideal for filling grout joints when covering old tiles with vinyl, smoothing trowel marks in levellers, and taking out minor imperfections before vinyl, carpet or ceramic tiles.
How to use
Ensure the floor is clean, sound and free of dust, grease and loose material. Mix the powder with clean water to a smooth, creamy paste and apply with a flat steel trowel, working from a feather edge up to 3mm thick. Tight second coats can be applied as the first firms. Any ridges can be shaved or lightly sanded once set for a flawless surface.
Important notes
Indoor use only and must be covered by a floor covering. Mix small batches to suit the rapid set. No primer is required over common substrates - check the datasheet for unusual surfaces.

Safety
Cement powders can irritate eyes, skin and lungs. Wear gloves, safety glasses and a P2 dust mask when mixing, keep the area ventilated, avoid prolonged contact with the wet compound and wash hands after use. Store out of reach of children.
