Description
Dunlop Ardit Rapidset Repair Mortar in the 10kg bag gives tradies and serious renovators a bigger supply of this extremely fast-hardening construction mortar. Built on ARDEX Ardit technology, it patches cracks, holes and broken edges and is trafficable after only 45 minutes, with floor coverings able to go down just 1 hour after placement - ideal when repairs can't shut an area down for long.
Where to use it
Use indoors and outdoors on concrete, render, screeds, masonry, plasterboard, timber and fibre-cement sheet. Typical jobs include patching worn slabs before flooring, building small ramps and transitions, and making good around doors, windows and plumbing work internally.
How to use
Prepare a clean, sound, dust-free repair area. Mix approximately 3L of clean water with the 10kg of powder to a smooth mortar, then trowel firmly into the repair, compacting well and finishing flush. Apply from a feather edge up to 20mm per pass, building deeper repairs in stages. Working time is about 15 minutes, so mix in manageable batches.
Important notes
Do not re-temper the mix with extra water once it begins to stiffen. Suited to patch repairs rather than full-floor levelling - pair it with a Dunlop floor leveller for whole-room work. Covered by a 10 year guarantee when used as directed.
