Description
Dunlop Ardit Timber Floor Leveller is a high performance, partially self-smoothing screed for timber floors, built on ARDEX Ardit technology. Unlike traditional two-part latex levellers, it is a convenient single-part formula - just add water - yet still delivers the excellent adhesion, flexibility and water resistance needed to level over timber substrates that flex underfoot.
Where to use it
For indoor use over timber and concrete subfloors, creating a smooth, even base before installing ceramic tiles, carpet or vinyl. It is well suited to renovations where old floorboards or sheet flooring need flattening before new coverings are laid.
How to use
Sand and prime all timber floors before application, and prime porous surfaces such as concrete using a plush broom. Mix the powder with clean water using a low-speed paddle mixer until smooth and lump free, then pour, spread with a trowel and let the screed flow out to a level finish. Apply from a feather edge up to 12mm neat, or up to 30mm with the addition of 2-5mm aggregate.
Important notes
Indoor use only and must be covered with a finished floor covering. Ensure timber floors are rigid and securely fixed before levelling. The no-odour formula suits occupied homes. Check the technical datasheet for covering wait times for your chosen flooring.
