Description
Dunlop Coloured Render Texture Coat is a premixed, coloured acrylic texture coat that delivers a durable, contemporary decorative finish straight from the pail. Tinted in a range of popular Colorbond® colours, it lets you match rendered walls to roofing, gutters and trims without painting afterwards. The easy trowel-and-float formulation applies like a render but finishes like a designer coating, and its protective acrylic film shrugs off weather for a long-lasting, low-maintenance facade.
Where to use it
For indoor and outdoor decorative finishing over brick, blockwork, concrete, blueboard and compressed fibre cement sheet — typically as the final coat over a levelled base render such as Dunlop Multipurpose Acrylic Render or Flexible Fine Coat Render. Choose from Surfmist, Dune, Woodland Grey and Monument to complement your colour scheme.
How to use
Ensure the base surface is clean, dry, sound and uniform; make good any defects with Dunlop Render Joint & Patch first. Stir the pail thoroughly to an even colour, then apply with a steel trowel to a thin, consistent film of around 1mm. While still workable, rub up with a plastic float in a circular motion to develop the characteristic texture. Work wall sections wet-edge to wet-edge to avoid joins, and use pails from the same batch on a single elevation. Tools clean up with water. A 12.5L pail covers up to 10m² at 1mm thickness.
Important notes
Colour consistency is best when complete walls are finished in one session from mixed batches. Avoid application in rain, extreme heat or onto damp substrates; drying slows in cold, humid conditions.

Safety
