Description
Dunlop Flexible Coloured Grout is a smooth-finish, flexible cement-based grout available in a wide palette of popular colours to complement almost any tile. Its stronger colour formula gives rich, consistent joints, while built-in Grout Shield anti-mould and anti-bacteria technology resists mould and bacteria growth to keep wet areas looking fresher for longer. Easy to work and forgiving to clean off, it ensures flush joints with no pin holes.
Where to use it
Use it on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors, with ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite and mosaic tiles. It handles joints from 1mm right up to 8mm, so one product covers both fine wall joints and wider floor joints. For swimming pools, use the White 200 colour mixed with Dunlop Primer & Additive.
How to use
Make sure joints are clean, dry and raked clear of adhesive. Mix the powder with clean water (or with Dunlop Primer & Additive for extra flexibility, adhesion and stain resistance) to a smooth paste. Spread diagonally across the tiles with a rubber float, packing joints full, then sponge the surface clean once firm and buff off the haze. Initial set occurs after about 24 hours; showers can be exposed to water after 3 days, the grout can be sealed after 3 days and full cure is reached in 7 days.
Important notes
Coverage depends on tile size, joint width and depth - allow around 15% wastage. Colour can vary slightly with water content and curing conditions, so mix consistently between batches.
