Description
Dunlop Flexible Coloured Grout in the 5kg pack brings the same smooth finish and strong, consistent colour as the smaller pack, in a size suited to whole bathrooms, kitchens and floor areas. The formula is flexible and easy to work, ensures flush joints with no pin holes, and contains Grout Shield anti-mould and anti-bacteria technology that resists mould and bacteria growth so grout lines stay looking better for longer.
Where to use it
Grout walls and floors indoors and outdoors with ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite and mosaic tiles. Joints from 1mm to 8mm are covered, making it suitable for everything from fine mosaic work to wide-format floor tiles. In swimming pools, use White 200 mixed with Dunlop Primer & Additive.
How to use
Rake joints clear of adhesive and ensure they are clean and dry. Mix the powder with clean water to a smooth, lump-free paste - or gauge with Dunlop Primer & Additive for enhanced colour, adhesion, abrasion and stain resistance. Work the grout diagonally into the joints with a rubber float, strike off the excess, then sponge clean once the grout firms and buff away residual haze. Initial set is about 24 hours, showers can get wet after 3 days, sealing is possible after 3 days and full cure takes 7 days.
Important notes
Allow roughly 15% wastage when estimating coverage from tile size, joint width and depth. Keep mixing water consistent between batches for uniform colour.
