Dunlop Ready-to-Go Tile & Grout 250g (White) is a clever 2-in-1 product that works as both a tile adhesive and a grout, straight from the tube. About the formula
This white, pre-mixed paste bonds wall tiles and then fills the joints with the same material, so a single tube handles the whole repair. The built-in Grout Shield technology helps resist mould and bacteria, keeping finished joints looking cleaner for longer. Excess can simply be wiped away with a damp cloth while still fresh, and the resealable tube makes it easy to store for future touch-ups.
Where to use it
Indoors: wall tiles and mosaics in kitchens, splashbacks, laundries and living areas, plus general tile and grout repairs. Suitable over concrete, cement render, fibre-cement sheet, plasterboard and prepared painted surfaces.
Outdoors: exterior wall tiles and mosaics. When grouting outdoors, protect the area from extremes of weather for 7 days while it cures.
Tile types: ceramic, porcelain and marble wall tiles and mosaics (excluding moisture-sensitive stone).
How to use it
- Prepare the surface so it is flat, firmly fixed, clean and dry, free of dust, oil, grease and loose material. Prime surfaces with Dunlop Primer & Additive and allow to dry.
- Spread the adhesive with a 4.5-6 mm notched trowel to a minimum 1 mm bed. Press and slide each tile into position for full contact, adjusting within 60 minutes (at 23°C, 50% humidity).
- Joints can be grouted immediately. Squeeze the material firmly into the joints and compact with a grout float or squeegee, scraping off excess from the tile face.
- After about 15 minutes, wipe back excess with a damp, small-pored sponge, rinsing often.
- Once the joint has hardened (approx. 6-24 hours), buff and polish the tiles with a clean, dry cloth.
Important notes
- Not suitable for use in wet areas such as a shower recess, over Dunlop Waterproofing membrane, or in continuously immersed conditions.
- Do not use the grout in expansion or movement joints.
- For textured or matt tiles, test ease of cleaning on a spare tile first.
- Designed for wall tiles and mosaics rather than heavy floor tiling.

Safety

Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, and wear protective gloves, clothing, eye and face protection. Avoid breathing any mist, vapour or spray. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if easy to do, and seek immediate medical advice. If on skin, wash with plenty of water and remove contaminated clothing. If inhaled, move the person to fresh air. Store locked up and keep out of reach of children.
