Description
Dunlop Universal Tile Adhesive is the do-almost-anything adhesive in the Dunlop Trade (ARDEX Australia) range – a high performance, multipurpose wall and floor tile adhesive with excellent workability and flexibility. Its non-slumping formula keeps wall tiles in position while its C2TES1 classification delivers extended open time, slip resistance and a deformable, high-strength bond for demanding applications.
Where to use it
One of the most versatile adhesives available: suitable for indoor and outdoor walls and floors, and even swimming pools. It fixes ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (excluding moisture sensitive stone), mosaics and fully vitrified tiles over compressed fibre-cement sheet floors, concrete floors, fibre-cement sheet walls, Dunlop Undertile Waterproofing, plasterboard and render.
How to use
Mix with clean water to a smooth, creamy consistency and allow to stand briefly before a final remix. Apply to a clean, dry, sound substrate with a 6mm notched trowel on walls or a 10mm notched trowel on floors. Press tiles firmly home with a twisting action, ensuring good adhesive transfer to the tile back – especially important outdoors and in pools where full contact is required. Grout after approximately 24 hours at 23°C and 50% relative humidity.
Important notes
Not suitable for moisture sensitive natural stone. For pool installations, allow the full recommended cure before filling. The product exceeds ISO 13007 requirements.

Safety
Contains cement. Avoid breathing dust and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye protection while mixing and applying, and work in a well-ventilated area. Refer to the safety data sheet before use.
