Description
Elmer's Glue-All Multi-Purpose Extra Strong Liquid Glue is a general-purpose white PVA glue for craft tables, classrooms and light household repairs, supplied in a 473ml bottle. It joins porous and semi-porous materials such as paper, fabric, wood, leather and ceramics, and its easy, ready-to-use formula suits beginners and families.
About the formula
A water-based, white PVA (polyvinyl acetate) liquid glue with a mild vinegar-like odour. The manufacturer describes it as non-toxic, with a strong bond and a quick-drying, clear-drying finish. It needs no mixing, and it can also be used to make homemade glue slime.
Where to use it
Indoors: school and craft projects, paper and cardboard work, fabric and leather crafts, small timber and ceramic repairs, and odd jobs around the kitchen, workshop, den or garage.
Outdoors: not recommended. The product is intended for indoor use only.
Suitable materials include paper, cardboard, fabric, wood, leather and ceramics.
How to use it
Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Apply a thin, even layer of glue to one or both surfaces, press the parts together and hold or clamp them until the glue grips. Wipe away any excess straight away with a damp cloth, as wet glue washes up with soap and water. Leave the bond to fully dry before putting it under load. Close the cap firmly after use.
Important notes
Do not use on photos, bare metal, or surfaces that will be submerged or heated. Keep the product from freezing, because freezing can damage the glue. This is not a structural adhesive, so choose a purpose-made product for load-bearing or outdoor jobs. Always test a small hidden area first on delicate or finished surfaces.
