Description
The Energizer HDL10 LED Headtorch is a lightweight, hands-free light that puts 250 lumens of bright white LED output wherever you are looking, with three AAA batteries already included. It suits camping, hiking and cycling, and it is just as handy for jobs around the home, garage or worksite when you need both hands free.
About the product
The HDL10 uses a white LED with two brightness settings, selected with a single push button. High mode gives 250 lumens with a beam that reaches about 60 metres, and low mode stretches the battery life for close-up tasks. The lens is shatterproof, the body is IPX4 water-resistant against splashes, and the head pivots so you can aim the light without moving your whole head. An anti-glare design and an adjustable head strap keep it comfortable to wear.
Where to use it
Indoors: under the sink, in the roof space or under the house, in the garage, during blackouts, and for fiddly repair or maintenance work.
Outdoors: camping, hiking, cycling, fishing, walking the dog and general night-time tasks around the yard or campsite.
How to use it
- Slide the strap over your head and adjust it for a snug, comfortable fit.
- Press the push button once to switch on, again to change between high and low, and again to turn off.
- Tilt the pivoting head up or down to direct the beam where you need it.
- Runs on 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, which are supplied in the pack.
Important notes
Run times are quoted for high mode with fresh alkaline batteries and will vary with battery quality, temperature and use. IPX4 protects against splashing water only, so do not submerge the headtorch. Impact resistance is rated for drops from about 1 metre. Replace all three batteries together and remove them if the light will be stored for a long period.

Care and storage
Wipe the headtorch clean with a damp cloth and let it dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct heat. Remove the batteries if it will not be used for a while, and dispose of used batteries at a battery recycling point. Keep batteries out of reach of young children.
