Description
The Energizer Vision HD Metal LED Torch is a compact, hard-wearing handheld light that puts out up to 400 lumens and lets you switch between a focused beam and a wide area glow with one press. It runs on two AA batteries (included), so it is ready to go straight out of the pack for the home, the vehicle or the workplace.
About the product
The torch uses Energizer MAXVIZ technology, which is designed to give a natural-looking beam colour with good contrast for clearer, high-definition vision. Digital Focus lets you change the beam from a tight spot to a broad flood with one hand, which helps with both long-distance viewing and close-up work. The body is made from aircraft grade aluminium and is rated IPX4, so it copes with splashes from any direction. It has been drop tested from 1 metre.
Where to use it
Indoors: power outages, checking the switchboard, roof cavities, under sinks, cupboards and the garage or workshop.
Outdoors: camping, fishing, walking the dog, yard checks at night and keeping in the car or emergency kit.
Features and what is included
- High mode: 400 lumens for about 4 hours, with a beam distance of 115 m
- Low mode: 50 lumens for about 21 hours, with a beam distance of 35 m
- Strobe mode for signalling
- One press Digital Focus to move between spot and area light
- Push button switch for easy mode changes
- Aircraft grade aluminium construction in a silver finish
- IPX4 water resistant (splash resistant, not waterproof or for submersion)
- Includes 1 torch and 2 x AA batteries
How to use it
Check that the batteries are installed correctly, then press the push button to turn the torch on and cycle through the light modes. Use the Digital Focus control to switch between the focused beam and the wider area light. Use High mode when you need maximum brightness and distance, and Low mode when you want longer run time.
Important notes
Run times and beam distances are quoted by the manufacturer for the stated modes and will vary with battery type, condition and temperature. IPX4 protects against splashing water only, so do not submerge the torch. This is a non-rechargeable torch that uses standard AA batteries.

Care and storage
Wipe the torch clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth and dry it after exposure to splashes. Switch it off after use and remove the batteries if you will not use it for a long period to help prevent leakage. Replace both batteries at the same time with the same type, and store the torch in a cool, dry place out of reach of young children.
