The Eufy Solar Wall Light Cam S120 combines a 2K security camera, a motion-activated wall light and a built-in solar panel in one wireless unit, so you can watch over an entry, side path or backyard without running any cable. It suits homeowners who want local, on-device recording and a light that comes on when something moves.
About the product
The camera records in 2K (2304 x 1296) with colour night vision, and the 300 lumen dimmable light sits just below the lens. A PIR motion sensor picks up movement from up to about 7.6 metres away and sends a notification to your phone through the eufy Security app. From the app you can talk through the two-way audio, trigger the 105 dB siren or switch on the light remotely. Footage is saved to the built-in 8GB eMMC memory, and events are recorded when motion is detected. The unit connects straight to your home Wi-Fi and does not need a HomeBase or hub. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Where to use it
Indoors: not intended as an indoor camera, although the unit can be used under cover as long as it still gets plenty of daylight.
Outdoors: on an exterior wall by a front door, driveway, side gate, garage, shed or backyard entry, in a spot where the solar panel gets direct sun. The unit has an IP65 rating and an operating range of -20°C to 50°C.
How to use it
- Charge the camera fully before first use. It has a USB-C charging port on the back, and the cable and power adapter are not included.
- Download the eufy Security app, create an account and follow the in-app steps to add the camera.
- Choose a wall position about 1.8 m to 2.5 m above the ground where the solar panel will not be blocked by a roof edge, branches or leaves.
- Mark the holes using the mounting base as a template, drill, insert the anchors and screw the base to the wall.
- Slot the camera onto the base and tighten the fixing screw at the bottom.

Important notes
The built-in battery gives up to 60 days of use in energy-saving mode, and around 2 hours of good sunlight lifts the charge enough for more than a day of camera operation. Solar performance depends on how much direct sun the panel gets, so avoid heavily shaded spots. The camera records motion events rather than 24/7 footage. It does not currently support Apple HomeKit. Installation involves drilling into the wall, so check what is behind the surface first.

Care and storage
Wipe the unit and solar panel clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth now and then so dust and leaves do not reduce charging. Keep the panel clear of obstructions, and do not open the housing. If you store the unit, keep it dry and charged somewhere cool. Keep the packaging, screws and small parts away from young children.
