The Eufy Video Doorbell 1080p with Mini Repeater Chime is a wire-free, battery-powered doorbell camera that lets you see and talk to visitors from your phone, with no monthly subscription needed. It comes with a plug-in Wi-Fi chime for the inside of your home and a 16GB SD card for local storage, so you can set it up straight out of the box.
About the product
The doorbell gives you a 1080p-grade view (1600 x 1200) in a 4:3 frame, with WDR to help balance bright and dark areas. That taller shape is designed to show visitors from head to toe, and parcels left at your feet. The doorbell talks to the Wi-Fi chime over a closed, low-power wireless link, and it has a rechargeable built-in battery. Eufy rates the battery at up to 120 days per charge, based on 20 detection events a day with 15 seconds of recording each. Real-world battery life will vary with use, settings and conditions.

Where to use it
Indoors: the Wi-Fi chime plugs into a power point inside your home, and it also acts as the storage hub for your recordings.
Outdoors: the doorbell mounts on a wall or doorframe at your front door. It is designed for outdoor use and works in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C.
How to use it
Download the eufy Security app, then plug in the chime and pair the doorbell. Fit the mounting bracket with the supplied screws and positioning card, then attach the doorbell. The 15° wedge is there if you need to angle the camera towards visitors. To recharge, detach the doorbell with the supplied pin and charge it with a USB cable. The battery is built in and cannot be replaced.

Important notes
This model connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, and it needs the Wi-Fi chime to work. It cannot be hardwired to existing doorbell wiring. Features and the app need an internet connection. Battery life depends on how often the doorbell records.

Care and storage
Keep the Wi-Fi chime indoors and out of damp areas. Recharge the doorbell with the supplied USB cable only, and keep the lens clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep small parts, the SD card and the mounting screws away from young children. Store the unit in a cool, dry place if it is not in use.
