Description
The Gainsborough Liberty Smart Lever Lock is a fingerprint-operated door lever in a contemporary Matte Black finish, made for internal doors and sheltered external doors around the home. It replaces a standard lever set with keyless entry and app control, so you can let family in without handing out keys.
About the product
The lock uses an advanced fingerprint sensor for keyless access and runs on 4 x AAA batteries. A USB power inlet gives you a backup power source if the batteries run flat. It connects to the Grid Connect mobile app (iPhone and Android) so you can control and monitor the lock from your phone. Adding the optional SG121HA hub (sold separately) enables access from anywhere and voice control for locking and unlocking.
Where to use it
Indoors: internal doors such as laundry doors, home offices and other rooms where you want simple, keyless locking.
Outdoors: sheltered external doors such as a garage access door. The lock is not waterproof, so keep it out of direct weather.
How to use it
- Fits doors 32mm to 50mm thick, with a 60mm or 70mm backset.
- Designed for a standard 54mm door cutout, with a drill template and quick start guide to help with setup.
- Fit the lock with the door open, and install the batteries only once installation is complete.
- Check that the lock operates correctly before closing the door.
- Register fingerprints and pair the lock through the Grid Connect app once fitted.
Important notes
Intended for residential use only, not commercial use. The lock is not waterproof. The SG121HA hub is needed for remote access and voice control and is sold separately. Do not use excessive force or sharp objects on the sensor area. Professional installation is recommended when fitting to a new door, and servicing should be left to a qualified technician. Care and storage
Keep the lock dry and out of direct weather, and wipe the finish with a soft, damp cloth rather than abrasive cleaners. Replace all four batteries together when the lock signals low power, and keep the USB inlet clear of dust and moisture. Store spare batteries and the unopened pack in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
