Description
The Grunt Reflecta Flat Bungee Strap is a 1m flat bungee strap with a reflective stripe, made to keep your load secure and help it stand out in low light. It suits everyday jobs around the car, trailer, garage and campsite where you need a quick, stretchy way to hold gear in place.
About the product
The strap is made from rubber and polypropylene (PP) yarn in a flat profile. A fluoro fabric finish with a reflective stripe gives extra visibility by day and night. Grunt rates the strap at a 90kg breaking strength and describes it as weather resistant. The stretch lets it take up slack and keep tension on bikes, boxes, tarps, luggage and other loads.
Where to use it
Indoors: bundling and holding gear in the garage, shed or storage area, or keeping items snug during a move.
Outdoors: securing loads on roof racks, trailers, utes, bikes and camping gear, especially when you want the load to be easy to see at dusk or at night.
How to use it
- Length: 1m total.
- Features a reflective stripe on a fluoro fabric strap for better visibility.
- Pack: one strap.
- Stretch the strap over the load, anchor both ends firmly and check that the load feels stable before you set off.
- Check the strap and its end fittings for wear before each use.
Important notes
The 90kg figure is a breaking strength, not a safe working load, so always keep the load well below it. Bungee straps give flexible hold and are not a substitute for ratchet straps on heavy or critical loads. Stop using any strap that is frayed, cut, overstretched or has lost its elasticity. Keep your face and body clear of the strap while stretching it, because a slipped strap can recoil. The strap is supplied in either fluoro green or fluoro orange, and the colour cannot be chosen.

Care and storage
Rinse off dirt or salt with fresh water and let the strap dry before storing it. Keep it away from sharp edges, heat, solvents and long periods of direct sun when not in use. Store it loosely in a cool, dry place, and replace it if the rubber becomes brittle, cracked or loses its stretch. Keep out of reach of young children.
