Description
The Hotwire Floor Heating Mat delivers all the comfort of Hotwire under tile heating with the heating cable already pre-spaced on a self-adhesive fibreglass mesh. Instead of fixing a loose cable, you simply roll the mat out across the floor — installation is fast, spacing is guaranteed even, and the finished system is invisible, silent, dust-free and energy efficient. At just 3.6 mm thick, the mat adds almost no height to the floor build-up, and the single cold tail keeps wiring simple. Every mat is supplied as a complete system with a fully programmable touch screen thermostat, floor temperature probe, installation alarm, tape and manual; WiFi and dual thermostats are available as upgrades.
Where to use it
Perfect for bathrooms, ensuites, laundries, kitchens and living areas under tile or stone. The ultra-thin profile makes it equally suited to new builds and retrofits in existing homes where floor height is limited, and the gentle radiant heat also dries wet-area floors, helping keep mould at bay.
How to use
Measure the free floor area, roll the mat out and press the adhesive mesh onto a clean, primed subfloor, cutting the mesh (never the cable) to turn at walls. Fit the floor probe, then tile directly over the mat. All wiring, thermostat connection and testing must be completed by a licensed electrician, with resistance readings recorded before, during and after tiling.
Important notes
Size the mat to the open floor area only, excluding vanities, baths and fixed cabinetry. The heating cable must not be cut or shortened. Register your warranty after installation; the heating element is covered by a lifetime warranty (conditions apply).

Safety
Indoor use only. This mat connects to 230–240 V mains and must be installed and wired by a licensed electrician to AS/NZS wiring rules on an RCD-protected circuit. Hotwire systems are independently tested to AS/NZS standards.
