Description
The Karcher WV 6 Plus is a cordless window vac that lifts dirty water straight off glass and other smooth surfaces, so you can finish windows, mirrors and shower screens without drips or streaks. It is a refined version of the original Karcher Window Vac, with a redesigned squeegee blade and a long 100 minute battery run time. This white model comes ready to use with a spray bottle and microfibre cloth, a sample of window cleaner concentrate and a charger.
About the product
You spray and wipe the surface with the microfibre cloth, then run the vac over it to draw the dirty water into the onboard tank. The blade is designed to cover bigger areas in fewer passes, which helps on large panes and glass doors. A display shows the remaining run time in minutes, so you can plan the job and know whether to keep going or recharge. Karcher states that window cleaning is about three times faster than with conventional methods. The tank is easy to empty and keeps you away from the dirty water.
Where to use it
Indoors: windows, mirrors, glass doors, shower screens, bathroom and kitchen tiles, and condensation on glass.
Outdoors: exterior window panes and glass sliding doors.
The vac suits glass and other smooth hard surfaces, including tile and stone. Check the surface and the manufacturer's instructions before using it on anything delicate or unsealed.
How to use it
- Charge the battery with the supplied charger before first use.
- Dilute the window cleaner concentrate in the spray bottle as directed on the sachet.
- Spray the surface and loosen dirt with the microfibre cloth.
- Run the vac blade across the wet surface in even strokes to pick up the water.
- Empty the dirty water tank when it is full, then wipe the blade clean.

Important notes
The window vac is designed to remove water and cleaning solution from a surface, so it works best after the surface has been sprayed and wiped. It is not a substitute for scrubbing heavily soiled glass. Replacement microfibre cloths, blades and detergent are sold separately. Always follow the instruction manual supplied with the unit.

Care and storage
Empty the tank and wipe the blade and microfibre cloth after each use so they stay clean and effective. Rinse and dry the cloth before storing it. Store the unit indoors in a dry place away from heat and moisture, and keep the charger and spray bottle out of reach of children. Do not immerse the unit in water, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging and cleaning the unit.
