Description
The Kincrome K2099 is a 32 piece, 1/2" drive metric impact socket set that covers the most common nut and bolt sizes from 10mm to 32mm, with both shallow and deep sockets in one carry case. It suits workshop, garage and on-site work where you want a complete impact-grade set that is easy to move around.
About the product
The sockets are made from chrome molybdenum steel (42 CrMo4, impact grade), the type of steel used for sockets that are driven by impact tools. The set includes 15 shallow and 15 deep sockets in matching sizes, plus a 65 mm impact socket driver and a 150 mm impact extension bar for reaching recessed fasteners. Everything sits in a custom blow mould case.

Where to use it
Workshop: general mechanical and automotive work, wheel and suspension fasteners, machinery servicing.
On site: the case keeps the set together and makes it simple to carry from the workshop to the job.
How to use it
Choose the socket size that fits the fastener snugly, then push it fully home before applying drive. Use the deep sockets for fasteners on long studs or in recessed spots, and add the extension bar when you need extra reach. Use impact-rated sockets, drivers and extensions with impact tools, and do not use standard chrome sockets on impact wrenches. After use, return each piece to its place in the case so you can see at a glance if anything is missing.
Important notes
This is a metric set only. Check the fastener size before applying force to avoid rounding off heads. Always use the correct drive size for your tool and replace any socket that is cracked, worn or damaged.

Care and storage
Wipe sockets clean of grease and grit after use and keep them dry to help prevent rust. Store the set in its case in a dry place, with every piece back in its slot. Check sockets periodically for wear or cracks and replace any that are damaged.
