Description
The Kincrome 4-in-1 Indexing Head Soldering Iron Kit is a cordless, refillable butane soldering iron that also works as a pin-point torch and a hot air blower, supplied with tips, accessories and a metal carry case. Because it runs on gas instead of mains power, it suits mobile repairs on the car, at the workbench, on site or around the house.
About the product
The head indexes into three positions, so you can switch between soldering, flame and hot air modes. Piezo auto ignition lights the tool at the press of a button, and a continuous mode lets you keep it burning without holding the igniter switch. Kincrome lists a tip temperature of up to 450°C in soldering mode, a pin-point flame of up to 1300°C and hot air of up to 600°C. The power output range is 30 to 120W, and the gas tank holds 9.2g of fuel for roughly 45 to 60 minutes of operation. The kit includes lead free solder and a magnetic stand for resting the iron between joints.

How to use it
The iron is supplied empty, so fill it with butane or a butane-propane mix and let it settle before lighting. It comes set up as a soldering iron and can be used straight away. Move the head slightly to confirm it has locked into position before you start. Swap between the three tips to suit the job, fit the deflector for hot air or flame use, and release the igniter switch to switch off. Use the cleaning sponge and trays to keep tips in good condition, and fit the head cap once the tool has cooled down.
Important notes
Gas is not included. Check the instruction manual for refilling, lighting and tip or deflector changes before first use. Allow the tool and tips to cool fully before changing parts or packing it away. A 1 year manufacturer warranty applies.

Care and storage
Use in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials, and never leave a lit tool unattended. Keep out of reach of children. Let the tool cool before refitting the head cap and storing it in its case in a cool, dry place. Refer to the instruction manual for full operating and refilling details.
