Kincrome Nut Riveter Kit 85 Piece (M3 to M6 Rivet Nuts Included)

Description

The Kincrome K4700 Nut Riveter Kit is a hand-operated rivet nut setting set for fitting strong, threaded anchor points into thin material, supplied with four mandrels and 80 zinc coated steel rivet nuts in a carry case. It suits workshop, trade and weekend projects where you need a solid captive nut in sheet material that is too thin to tap or thread.

About the product
Rivet nuts (also called nutserts) let you create a durable threaded fixing in thin material that cannot be tapped. The riveter body is made from lightweight cast aluminium with moulded grips, and it can be used with one hand or two. Switching between sizes is simple, with four easy-change one-piece mandrels covering M3, M4, M5 and M6.

Where to use it
Kincrome positions this kit for a wide range of work, including automotive, metal fabrication, appliances, food equipment, industrial machinery, farm equipment, electronics, transportation, 4WD and off-road fit-outs, and marine applications.

What is included

  • 1 x hand-operated nut riveter
  • 4 x one-piece mandrels: M3, M4, M5 and M6
  • 80 x zinc coated steel rivet nuts: 20 each of M3, M4, M5 and M6
  • Blow mould carry case with handle

How to use it
Drill a hole in the panel to suit the rivet nut size you are fitting, then fit the matching mandrel to the riveter and thread a rivet nut onto it. Insert the rivet nut into the hole and squeeze the handles to set it, then unwind the mandrel to release the tool. Always follow the instructions supplied with the kit for hole sizes and setting steps. Matching M3 to M6 rivet nuts in aluminium and zinc coated steel are also sold separately by Kincrome, so you can restock after the included inserts are used.

Important notes
Use the mandrel that matches the rivet nut size. The kit is designed for aluminium and steel rivet nuts in M3 to M6 sizes only. Check that your material and fastener type suit the load of your application before relying on a fixing.
