About the product
The MM420 uses auto-ranging true root mean square (TRMS) measurement for more accurate readings on AC signals, and it selects the right range for you so there is less guesswork at the dial. It measures AC and DC voltage up to 600V, AC and DC current up to 10A and resistance up to 50 MΩ. It also handles continuity, diode testing, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature. How to use it
Plug the test leads into the correct input jacks for the measurement you want, turn the dial to the function and let the meter select the range. Use the Lead Alert feature as a prompt that the leads are in the right place before you test. For temperature readings, connect the supplied thermocouple using the adapter. Care and storage
Keep the meter, leads and probe clean and dry, and check the leads for damage before each use. Never use a damaged lead or meter on a live circuit.
