About the product

How to use it
Put the key in and turn it to release the spring-loaded shackle, then lift the shackle and pass it through your hasp, chain or fitting. Push the shackle down until it latches, then remove the key (it can only be taken out when the shackle is open, so you will not accidentally lock it away from the key). To open the padlock, insert the key and turn it. A small amount of dry lubricant in the keyway now and then helps keep the action smooth.

Important notes

Care and storage
Wipe the padlock clean now and then and keep the keyway free of dirt and grit. Use a dry lubricant sparingly if the action becomes stiff. Store spare padlocks and keys in a dry spot, and keep keys out of reach of children.
