Description: HOLDIT AUSTRALIA T43 Nutlock is an oil tolerant, medium viscosity, Thixotropic, anaerobic thread locking adhesive suitable for all types of metal threaded fasteners. The cured adhesive offers controlled medium strength, excellent temperature, and solvent resistance, particularly against water and nonpolar solvents. It rapidly cures on plated, oily metal surfaces or inactive surfaces.
Applications
Ideal for replacing lock washers and plastic inserts, NUTLOCK locks machine tool access bolts, studs, hydraulic system bolts, gear box bolts/drive shaft, bearing cover cap screws, counter sunk screws, conveyor roller bolts, and is suitable for construction equipment.
Instructions for Use
- Clean all surfaces with a cleaning solvent and allow to dry for optimal bonding.
- If metal is inactive or cure speed is slow, apply HOLDIT AUSTRALIA AA471 Activator or AA649 Accelerator.
- Shake the product thoroughly before application.
- Apply adhesive to the fixing position of the fastener or onto the internal threads of a blind hole.
- Assemble components and tighten to the required torque level.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure before applying load.
