Description: HOLDIT AUSTRALIA T71 Threadlock is a high-strength, anaerobic thread locking compound. T71 is developed for the permanent locking of threaded fasteners and performs well on aluminium, steel, plated fasteners, stainless steel, and special alloy parts. It boasts good temperature stability and solvent resistance.
Applications
T71 is designed to lock and seal large fasteners, especially in applications where shock and vibration might cause loosening. Its high strength ensures a reliable lock in demanding environments.
Instructions for Use
- Clean all surfaces with a cleaning solvent and let them dry.
- If the metal is inactive or the cure speed is slow, apply HOLDIT AUSTRALIA AA471 Activator or AA649 Accelerator.
- Shake the product thoroughly before application.
- Apply the adhesive to the fixing position of the fastener or to the internal threads of a blind hole.
- Assemble the components and tighten to the required torque level.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure before applying load.
