Description: HOLDIT AUSTRALIA T72 Studlock is a High Strength-High Temperature Threadlocker. This red, single component, anaerobic adhesive is ideal for joining threaded parts exposed to operating temperatures up to 232°C. Its enhanced chemistry allows superior performance at temperatures significantly higher than other thread locking products.
Applications
T72 is perfect for high-temperature locking and sealing of studs, nuts, screws, bolts, and fittings. It effectively locks and seals parts against leakage, contamination, and corrosion, particularly suitable for larger diameter, coarse-threaded parts. Recommended for components not requiring routine maintenance, as disassembly can be challenging and may require heat.
Instructions for Use
- Clean all surfaces with a cleaning solvent and allow to dry.
- If the metal is inactive or the cure speed is slow, apply HOLDIT AUSTRALIA AA471 Activator or AA649 Accelerator.
- Shake the product thoroughly before application.
- Apply the adhesive to the fixing position of the fastener or onto the internal threads of a blind hole.
- Assemble components and tighten to the required torque level.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure before applying load.
