Description
Mechanix Wear SpeedKnit CR5 gloves are a cut-resistant, nitrile-coated work glove for trades and DIYers who handle sharp or abrasive materials, supplied here in size Medium. A seamless knit shell wraps the whole hand, and a coated palm keeps a firm hold on tools and materials, so the glove suits everyday jobs where bare hands would be at risk.
About the product
The shell is knitted from high-strength HPPE fibres. It is rated to EN 388:2003 Level 5 and ANSI A3 for cut resistance, with cut protection around the full hand. The palm carries a heavy-duty nitrile coating for durable grip, and a reinforced palm and a stretchy back help the glove move with your hand. The gloves are black and grey, unlined and not insulated, so they stay lightweight.
Where to use them
Indoors: workshop and garage tasks, handling sheet metal offcuts, trimming and cutting jobs, and general material handling.
Outdoors: site clean-ups, landscaping prep, and moving rough or abrasive building materials.
How to use them
- Choose the right fit. This listing is size Medium, so check your hand size before ordering.
- Check the gloves for holes, worn coating or loose threads before each job, and replace them if damaged.
- Wear them whenever you handle sharp-edged or abrasive materials, and keep them clean for the best grip.
- They are machine washable. Follow the care label for wash settings and let them dry naturally.
Important notes
Cut resistant does not mean cut proof, so take care around blades and power tools. The gloves are not water resistant, not heat resistant, not insulated and not adjustable, and they do not have knuckle protection. Do not wear them near rotating machinery where a glove could be caught.
