Mechanix Wear SpeedKnit S2EC06 Cut Resistant Work Gloves Medium (1 Pair)

Description

The Mechanix Wear SpeedKnit S2EC06 is a thin, close-fitting cut resistant glove for people who need real blade protection without losing feel, supplied here in size Medium. It pairs an 18-gauge knit shell with a grippy coated palm, so it suits detailed hands-on work around sharp edges, from the workshop to the garden.

About the product
The shell is a machine-knit blend of HPPE and steel, which gives ANSI A4 blade-cut resistance in a fine 18-gauge knit that keeps good dexterity. The working side has a water-based urethane coating that stays tactile and holds grip in both dry and wet conditions. The coating is touchscreen capable, so you can use a phone or tablet without taking the gloves off. A compression cuff helps keep the fit snug and keeps dirt and debris out.

Where to use it
Indoors: workshop and renovation tasks, handling sheet metal offcuts, glass-edged or sharp-edged materials, assembly work and general trade jobs where cuts are a risk.
Outdoors: gardening and landscaping jobs that involve sharp edges, handling cut materials, and general site or yard work in dry or damp conditions.

How to use it

  • 18-gauge HPPE and steel knit shell for protection against cuts and skin abrasions
  • Water-based urethane palm coating for a tactile, secure grip when dry or wet
  • Touchscreen capable working side
  • Compression cuff for a secure fit
  • Silicone free, REACH compliant and made with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 compliant textiles
  • Machine washable and dryable

Choose a size that fits snugly without bunching, as a close fit gives the best feel and control. Pull the cuff up firmly and check the gloves for wear or damage before each job.

Important notes
Cut resistant gloves reduce the risk of cuts but do not make hands cut-proof. Take extra care around moving machinery, power tools and rotating parts, because a glove can be caught and pulled in. They are not intended as protection from chemicals, heat or high-risk puncture hazards. Replace the gloves if the knit is cut, worn through or the coating has broken down.
