Description
Monarch Ultra Long Sealant Nozzles are replacement nozzles for getting sealant or adhesive into deep, tight or awkward spots, supplied here as a handy pack of five. They run up to 55% longer than standard nozzles, so you can reach further into gaps without stretching or fighting the caulking gun.
About the product
These are moulded plastic nozzles with a standard 15mm thread. That means they fit both standard and mini sealant cartridges. The extra length helps you place a neat bead where a regular nozzle can't get to. Five nozzles in the pack means you can swap in a fresh one for each new cartridge or job.
Where to use it
Indoors: deep gaps around baths, vanities, window and door frames, skirting and cornices, and joints behind fixtures where access is limited.
Outdoors: recessed joints and gaps around frames, cladding, flashings and other hard to reach spots, using any outdoor-rated sealant or adhesive in a standard or mini cartridge.
Suitable for use with standard and mini cartridges of sealants and adhesives that have the common 15mm thread.
How to use it
Screw the nozzle onto the threaded end of the cartridge, then cut the tip at an angle to suit the bead size you need. Load the cartridge into your caulking gun and apply the product to the joint as directed on the cartridge label. When you finish, remove the nozzle or cap the end as the sealant manufacturer recommends, and use a fresh nozzle for the next job.
Important notes
This product is a nozzle only and does not include a sealant, adhesive or caulking gun. Always follow the cure times, surface preparation and clean up instructions of the sealant or adhesive you are applying. Once sealant has cured inside a nozzle, it is best to replace the nozzle rather than reuse it.
