Description
Mont Marte Deco Pudge Matte is a 3-in-1 water-based decoupage glue, art sealer and matte varnish, supplied in a 300ml bottle for craft projects. You can stick your paper down, seal the surface and finish the piece with one product, so there is no need to swap between bottles mid-project.
About the formula
A water-based, non-toxic formula with a milky appearance in the bottle. It dries clear to a soft matte finish that resists yellowing. The finish can be lightly sanded between coats for a smoother result, and brushes and tools wash out with soap and water while the product is still wet.
Where to use it
Indoors: decoupage, scrapbooking, school projects, paper crafts and sealing finished artwork or painted pieces.
Outdoors: not recommended. This product is intended for indoor use only.
Suitable for gluing paper to a surface and for sealing over acrylic paint, stains, wood, fabric and decoupage projects.
How to use it
Brush a thin layer of Deco Pudge onto the surface, lay your paper over it and smooth out any bubbles. Once the paper is down, brush 2 to 3 coats over the top as a sealer and varnish, letting each coat dry before applying the next. A light sand between coats leaves an extra-smooth surface. Wash tools with soap and water while the product is still wet. Reseal the bottle after use.
Important notes
The product is touch dry in around 30 minutes and fully dry in about 24 hours. Store the bottle sealed in a cool place between 5 and 30 degrees C, away from direct sunlight. It is not intended for outdoor use. Always test on an offcut or a hidden spot first if you are working over a special finish.
