Description
Perma Child Safety Adhesive Universal Flexi Locks are a simple, no-drill way to keep little hands out of drawers, cabinets and kitchen appliances, supplied here as a pack of four 12cm flexible locks. The slim straps are designed to blend in with your existing décor, so you can childproof the home without fitting screws or specialist hardware.
About the product
Each lock is a flexible strap that loops across two neighbouring surfaces, such as a cabinet door and its frame, and is held in place by self-adhesive bases. The straps are made from PVC and the bases use a foam adhesive with a synthetic rubber-based adhesive. The 12cm length suits everyday cupboard and drawer handles and doors.
Where to use it
Indoors: kitchen and bathroom cabinets, laundry cupboards, drawers, fridges, dishwashers and other appliances you want to keep closed.
Outdoors: not intended for outdoor use.
The adhesive bases are designed to stick to a range of clean, hard surfaces including coated timber, metal, tile, painted plasterboard and glass.
How to use it
- Choose the position where the strap will sit across the door or drawer and its frame.
- Clean and dry both surfaces so the adhesive can grip properly.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive bases and press them firmly onto the surfaces.
- Loop the flexible strap through to secure the door or drawer closed.
- No tools are required for installation.
Important notes
Check the placement carefully before pressing the bases down, as the adhesive is made for a lasting hold. Test on delicate, unsealed or textured finishes first. A child safety lock is an extra layer of protection and does not replace adult supervision. Always keep medicines, cleaning products and other hazardous items well out of reach.

Care and storage
Keep unused locks in their pack in a cool, dry place so the adhesive stays clean. Wipe installed straps with a damp cloth as needed. Check the locks regularly and replace any that are worn, loose or damaged. Keep packaging and loose parts away from young children.
