Description
Permastik Indoor Mounting Tape is a double-sided foam tape for hanging lightweight items around the home without drills, nails or screws, supplied here as a 24mm x 5m roll. It suits everyday indoor jobs such as arts and crafts, signs and posters, and gives a neat, clean fix with no holes left in the wall.
About the tape
A white, double-sided EVA foam mounting tape with a 24mm width and a thickness of about 1mm. Permastik rates it at 10kg per metre of tape, tested to Australian Standard AS 2313.0-2006. It is a medium-strength tape designed for indoor conditions only and works best at room temperature, within a range of +10°C to +40°C.
Where to use it
Indoors: posters, signs, craft projects, lightweight decorations and other light household items on interior walls and surfaces.
Outdoors: not recommended. This tape is made for indoor use only, so choose an outdoor-rated mounting tape for exterior jobs.
Suitable surfaces include painted walls, tiles, glass, metal, timber and many plastics (test plastics on a small area first).
How to use it
Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose paint. Cut the tape to length, press it firmly onto the back of the item, peel off the liner and press the item into place on the wall for several seconds. Apply it within the recommended temperature range of +10°C to +40°C. Work out how many metres you need for the weight of the item, remembering the 10kg per metre rating.
Important notes
Not designed for outdoor use, damp conditions or heat-exposed locations. Use it only for light to medium items and stay well within the rated load. Results depend on the surface, so avoid dusty, crumbly, flaking or poorly bonded paint, and test on delicate or textured finishes first. Do not use it to hang items where a fall could cause injury or damage.

Safety
