Permastik Small Permanent Cable Clips are a tidy, no-drill way to guide cables and hang lights or light decorations, supplied as a 12-pack of white clips with matching adhesive strips. They suit parties, festive displays and everyday cable tidying, and they use a durable adhesive for a firmer hold than the brand's temporary clips.
About the product
Each small white plastic clip comes paired with its own adhesive strip, so there is nothing else to buy and no tools to find. Each clip is rated to carry up to 300g. The adhesive does the fixing in place of nails, screws, drilling or glue, which keeps walls and trim free of holes.
Where to use it
Indoors: run phone, charger or TV cables neatly along skirting boards, desks and walls, or hang fairy lights, party decorations and festive displays.
Outdoors: the manufacturer lists this item as suitable for indoor and outdoor use, so it can also hold outdoor lights on eaves and fascias. Choose a clean, flat surface that is protected from heavy rain.
How to use it
- Clean the mounting surface and let it dry fully so the adhesive can grip.
- Attach the adhesive strip to the back of the clip, peel off the liner and press the clip firmly onto the surface.
- Leave it to settle briefly before loading it, and keep the load within 300g per clip.
- Pack contents: 12 clips and 12 adhesive strips.
Important notes
This is the permanent version of the Permastik cable clip, so position each clip carefully before you press it down. The maker says the clips go on easily and come off cleanly. Even so, test on an inconspicuous spot first if the surface is freshly painted, wallpapered or delicate. Do not exceed 300g per clip. Textured, dusty, greasy or porous surfaces can weaken the hold.

Care and storage
Keep unused clips and strips in their pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sun so the adhesive stays tacky. Keep small parts away from young children. Do not use the clips to hold anything heavier than the rated load.
